The Restaurant

Our restaurant, ‘La Sosta dei Templari’ (whose name translates as ‘The Templars’ Rest’), which boasts a large panoramic veranda with a view of Lake Trasimeno, offers traditional Umbrian cuisine with many local and national typical dishes, and speciality dishes of both lake and marine fish.

Hotel Cavalieri, a family-run business, is a welcoming and superior three star hotel overlooking Lake Trasimeno and is located just 900 metres from the historic centre of Passignano, in the province of Perugia, on a quiet hill amongst olive trees and ancient oaks.

Open all year round, the hotel has ample free parking, a panoramic swimming pool, restaurant serving typical Umbrian cuisine, bar, non-smoking rooms and rooms for guests with disabilities, breakfast buffet and 24-hour reception. Pets are permitted.

The Swimming Pool

Hotel Cavalieri boasts a large panoramic terrace with adjacent swimming pool and solarium: open from Easter until October, our swimming pool gives guests the chance to enjoy relaxing beneath an umbrella, taking in the beautiful vista of Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding valleys.

Thanks to its large dimensions (14m x 7m, and a depth of 1.2m - 3.0m), guests can either swim or simply relax in the pool, as an alternative to bathing in the lake.

We also organise intensive three-day courses for obtaining an international scuba diving licence.

Function Room

Hotel Cavalieri also offers a small function room which can host up to 40 people. Our restaurant staff can complete any event with an ad hoc menu for work lunches and work, coffee breaks and gala dinners.
